Rules and code of conduct
Last updated 6 November 2026
At Lunarcia many projects tell stories together under the moon. These rules are here so everyone can enjoy the event and nobody is left out. They apply in game, on Discord, and in every event channel, and form part of the Terms of Service.
1. Respect comes first
- Treat every player with respect, whatever project they come from. No harassment, hate, threats, or abusive language out of character.
- Respect the gender, identity, and pronouns each person chooses. Do not mock them or decide them for someone.
- Do not bring conflicts between players or projects into the event. If something is unresolved, tell the team privately before the event.
- Do not target or attack other projects, in game or on social media.
2. Travelling to the festival
- In the story, characters reach the festival through a dream or by crossing dimensions. Each project can tell its own arrival.
- Belongings do not come along. Characters arrive with only themselves and the clothes they wear. They bring no weapons, magic items, or possessions from their world.
- It is a visit to a festival, not a move. When it ends, characters return to their own world. Things gained at the festival stay behind, and characters take home only their memories.
3. Event scenes are "special episodes"
- What happens at the event can stay as a character's memory or dream but has no permanent effect on status, relationships, or any project's main story.
- To carry an event scene into a main story, get agreement in advance from the players involved and the owners of every project concerned.
4. Consent in roleplay
- Anything that affects another character, such as stealing, fighting, injuring, kidnapping, arresting, or romance, must be agreed out of character first.
- Anyone can decline or stop a scene at any time. Say "stop scene" or use ((OOC)), and the others stop right away.
- Horror or heavy content only happens in announced areas, with a warning before it starts.
5. Stay in character, and take OOC talk to the right place
- In event areas, play in character. Out-of-character chat goes in (( )) in chat or in the Discord rooms for it.
- Play your character as written, and do not use out-of-character knowledge in character (metagaming).
6. Play fair, not to win
- The event may limit or even out special powers so every world can play together. Rely on wits and your character's basic skills.
- No deciding outcomes for others (godmodding), and no playing to win at the expense of other people's fun.
- Mini-games and contests are for fun and have no effect on main stories.
7. Make room for everyone
- Invite people standing alone into scenes, share roles around, and do not keep a scene to one group.
- The team and storytellers help bring players into scenes. You can ask to join a scene any time in free-play areas.
- Newcomers are always welcome, so explain things patiently.
8. Look after the festival together
- Do not break, steal, or change the event's buildings, lanterns, stalls, or decorations (griefing).
- Build or place things only where the team allows it, and do not block paths, gates, or firework viewing spots.
- During shows and stage events, follow the team's directions and do not disturb the audience.
9. Accounts, names, and nicknames
- Use your own single Minecraft account. No lending or sharing accounts, and one project per person each round.
- Nicknames on the site and in Discord must be polite and must not pretend to be someone else or the team. The team may change unsuitable names.
- The team never asks for your password or verification codes. If someone does, do not give them and tell the team right away.
10. Connection and equipment
- Join only through Neko Launcher. No cheat mods, modified clients, x-ray, or exploits.
- Report bugs or connection problems to the team on Discord instead of using them.
11. Discord
- Keep each room on its topic. No spam, ads, or suspicious links. In voice rooms, no noise blasting or shouting at people.
- The roles you pick when joining (notifications, play style, gender) are optional, and you can change them any time from the server menu.
- Never share other people's personal data, and no sexual or illegal content.
12. The team and roles
- ผู้จุดแสงจันทรา and ผู้กุมวิถีจันทรา run the event, ผู้พิทักษ์รัตติกาล keep order, ผู้เฝ้าคืนจันทร์ are the event staff, and แสงนำทาง answer questions and help newcomers.
- ดาวเคียงจันทร์ and ผู้อุปถัมภ์ฟากฟ้า are the event's partners and sponsors, with no staff powers.
- The bot gives player roles (ผู้ต้องแสงจันทร์, นักเดินทางใต้แสงจันทร์, ผู้นำแห่งดวงดาว, and each project's role) based on your status on the site. Do not ask for or claim a role you do not hold.
13. Project leads
- Explain these rules and how characters travel to the festival to your members before the event, and keep your members from starting conflicts.
- Be the go-between with the team when a member has a problem, and agree any cross-project story with the other project in advance.
14. Reporting and consequences
- Report problems in the contact-the-team room on Discord or at contact@furimoe.co.th. The team keeps reports confidential.
- The team may warn, mute, remove from a scene, suspend from the event, or remove from Lunarcia depending on severity. The team's decision is final during the event.
